The Lanes Market

The Lanes Market Launch Event - New Clothing & Interiors Event by Jo Holden

The brand new clothing, accessories and interiors event will open its doors for the first time on Saturday 14th April 2007 at 11am at The Friends’ Meeting House, Ship Street, Brighton.

This event looks to be a great success as all the stallholders have been hand selected to ensure that the merchandise is of a very high quality.

Over 40 up and coming local designers and individuals with an interest in fashion and interiors will be selling their wares at the quarterly event aimed at Brighton’s discerning shoppers. Inspired by markets such as London’s Portobello Road and Spitalfields, as well as junk shops, antique fairs and vintage clothing stores, founder and organiser Jo Holden wanted to celebrate the wealth of Brighton talent and bring everyone together under one roof.

Initially this market will be run quarterly but the plan is to turn it into a monthly event, so this is something to look out for.

Address: Friends’ Meeting House, Ship Street, Brighton, BN1 1AF.

Date: Saturday 14th April 2007 – Launch market

Time: 11am-4pm

Then on:

Saturday 28th July 2007 – Summer market

Saturday 27th October 2007 – Winter/Christmas market

You can email Jo Holden at jo_holden@tiscali.co.uk for more information.
