Please put Tuesday 27th of November in your diary, from 8-10am, where we will be discussing Recruitment. For those of you who are new, City Business Club offers wonderful learning opportunities: we present experienced speakers from across the regional business community and excellent networking prospects with the more seasoned Business Clubbers. This is set within a relaxed business environment, and of course a brilliant breakfast. This month, we welcome two speakers: Ruth Boulton of The Training Point and Jacky Misson from Nido Marketing. Ruth Boulton is the Director and founder of The Training Point, a Worthing based training company specialising in management, employment laws and recruitment. Ruth will speak about ‘The pitfalls in employment laws when recruiting’, a highly relevant subject for both small and medium size businesses- this talk could save you a lot of pennies in legal fees. Jacky Misson is the Director of Nido Marketing, a successful telemarketing company who won ‘Best place to work’ at the 2006/07 Brighton and Hove Business Awards. Jacky will share her ‘Top tips on how to recruit and retain the people you need’ which is undoubtedly one of Nido’s strong points. With such great speakers we strongly encourage you to return payment as soon as possible to guarantee yourself a place as spaces are strictly limited. For those who have already reserved their places, we thank you for the quick responses. For those of you that are yet to pay, please bear in mind that you can sign up for one event at a cost of £12 per person, or any three for £32.40.
