Brighton Gathering - Ecademy The Brighton Gathering meets every month to create its own a convivial and welcoming atmosphere for social chat with no great emphasis on business. What great things could you see happening if you grabbed the chance to spend some time with us? Given that 80% of success is turning up, how would you feel if you missed it? Labels: Brighton Gathering ![]() The Round Table The Round Table is a supportive group set up by Julia Fry and meets on the first Monday of every month at The Tea Rooms on Southover Street in Brighton from 7 til 9.30 pm. Their next meeting is on Monday 2 July. The Round Table is for amazing women who want to amplify their magnificence. Its a space to be heard on whatever you'd like to talk about in a group of 3 or 4 women (within a larger group), without interruption. Its time out from being busy to reflect on where you are in life and to be supported by the women in your group with questions, if you decide to invite them. A pot of tea of your choice and sandwiches (salmon or 3 cheese) and cake are included in the price which is £15 per person. CBC are delighted to announce that Carluccio's on Jubilee St, Brighton will be the venue for this event taking place from 8 till 10 AM. They also have two superb speakers for this meeting looking at networking and specifically how to get the most out events such as the City Business Club. The first speaker, Julia Chanteray, has been referred to as ‘the queen of networking’! Julia runs the successful business consultancy, The Joy of Business and is also the resident business expert on Channel 4's ‘Risking it all’. Mark Haverstock will be a familiar name to many of you on the regions' networking scene. Mark runs the popular coaching business Near Horizon. Mark's clients have included the London Stock Exchange and Brighton and Hove City Council, amongst many others. I have recently received an email from Juliet Kearns. Juliet is a portrait artist - who works in pastels. She also paints nudes and mermen for a "Adonis Art", a gallery in Earl's Court. It is an online network of business owners who not only get to know each other over the internet but also meet up together face-to-face. The Brighton Gathering Ecademy group meet on the 1st Tuesday of every month and their next meeting is on Tuesday 5 June 2007 they will be getting together at the West Quay Pub on the Brighton Marina. The informal gathering starts at 6 pm and goes on until around 8 pm.
