City Business Club

As the autumn draws ever closer, why not join us in the warmth of The Gallery Restaurant City College, for a hearty business breakfast and the next instalment of the City Business Club. This month, please put Tuesday 25th September in your diary to attend City College from 8-10am, where we will be discussing Marketing. Please come to the Whitecross Street entrance.

For those of you that are new, City Business Club offers wonderful learning opportunities: we present experienced speakers from across the regional business community and excellent networking prospects with the more seasoned Business Clubbers, all set within a relaxed business environment, and of course a brilliant breakfast.

This month, we welcome two speakers: Ian Davies of Seriously Equipped, and Jack Fairhall of Kwiqq.com, who are both newcomers to the City Business Club and will no doubt enrich the event with their superb knowledge of marketing.

Ian Davies is co-director of a Brighton based learning and development organisation, providing tailor made team and business development programmes and corporate events throughout the UK. Ian will be presenting to us on "How to read your customers and get your message across clearly."

Jack Fairhall is Chief Executive Officer and one of the founding members of Kwiqq.com, a company based at the Sussex Innovation Centre which builds online networking solutions for businesses and helps them to utilise technology as it emerges. Jack will speak of the "10 things to consider for your web marketing strategy."

Remember, spaces at the event are strictly limited, so we strongly encourage you to return payment as soon as possible to guarantee yourself a place. Thank you for the quick responses of those that have already reserved their places, for those of you that are yet to pay, please bear in mind that you can sign up for one event at a cost of £12 per person, or for any three in the series for £32.40. Cheques should be made payable to 'CCBH' at the following address: City Business Skills, City College Brighton and Hove, Pelham Street, Brighton BN1 4FA.

Please feel free to contact me on 01273 667756, or on sbl@ccb.ac.uk if you have any questions or you require further information. I look forward to seeing some familiar faces and our new members on the 25th!

All the best,

Sara Bertilsson
